The Mora Area Fire Department provides fire suppression, fire prevention, and rescue services to the the city of Mora, the City of Quamba, and all or part of the following townships: Arthur, Brunswick, Comfort, Grass Lake, Hillman, Knife Lake, Peace, Pomroy and Whited.
The MAFD service area covers over 240 square miles and a population of around 12,000 people.
MAFD consists of a Chief, Assistant Chief, 2 Captains, 2 Lieutenants and approximately 25 firefighters.
