Let’s Talk Transportation: Mora community invited to attend public event March 30th for Highway 65 and 23 study

Baxter, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites the traveling public, area residents and businesses in Mora to provide feedback at a Let’s Talk Transportation event Thursday, March 30  for a Highway 65 and 23 corridor study.

The meet-and-greet will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, Mar. 30. It will be hosted at Mora City Hall, 101 S Lake St., Mora, MN.

There will not be a formal presentation; attendees may come and go at their leisure.

MnDOT’s corridor study in Mora covers the area on Highway 65 between Ninth Street and the Ann River bridge and Highway 23 between Highway 65 and Mahogany Street. The study will identify future safety and access needs throughout the corridor segment. MnDOT will analyze current and future demographics, land use, development and safety data to support the recommended improvements. The study will inform plans for reconstruction in 2030.
